Super cute, could be plusher, but my biggest complaint is that the fart is nothing like the big wet one the one on the TV show makes. That was the whole point!

It's smaller than I thought it would be. Very cute. But, it does not make a farting noise when squeezed like Abby's does. Instead, it has a cheap little plastic noise box that you have to find to press and the sound it makes is a weird, pathetic growling sound. NOT a fart sound at all. I am going to go buy a whoopie cushion this afternoon and see if it fits into the puppet hand-hole. That might make it workable. Otherwise, it's a huge disappointment.

Disappointed that it doesn't sound like it does on T.V. For the price it should be more realistic. This is the 2nd time I have been disappointed in this store and product.

This Bert is cute and resembles Abby's Bert (although somewhat smaller), but the fart noise is not a fart at all! Just some weird short blast of a mechanical sound. They could have done way better on that. Since the fart is what makes Bert so charming, I'm rather disappointed.

I brought this item for my nephew for when I baby-sit him he would have a stuffed animal that made him comfortable when he slept over. When purchasing Bert I knew the stuffed animal wouldn't be anywhere near the size of the original unit on NCIS, but I did expect the mechanism that "farts" would be of better quality. The unit that comes with Bert sounds more like a scratchy noise. Otherwise Bert is a well constructed stuffed animal with good detail. The soft spiked collar, although looks dangerous, is soft and removable for easy cleaning.

For entertainment value. It's soft and looks like Bert on NCIS. The "noise" doesn't sound ANYTHING like Abby's Bert on NCIS. Poor Replica.

was disappointed in the sound. other wise he is cute. We went to a party store and bought a Whoopi Cushion to stick inside. Now, he sounds just like Abby's. Sad that we had to do that. And the little 'PRESS HERE" button isn't anywhere near the little sound box by the way, either.

He's cute but too small. The sound is also not as good as the one on the show. I would have happily paid more, and probably bought more than one, for the same one used on the show. Not sure why you didn't market that one.

The sound it makes sounds like a screech that was a bit on the quiet side. It doesn't sound like the fart sound sample on the CBS website and it doesn't sound like the fart on the actual NCIS tv show. There's 2 pockets that you could possibly fit a very small whoopee cushion inside: the 1st pocket is for the soundbox (about 1.5 inches x 2 inches) located in the stomach area. The 2nd pocket allows you to use the hippo as a puppet and can fit an adult hand into the neck & mouth area. I was disappointed that it didn't make a real, farting-like sound, however it was big, soft and squishy (great for hugs) and I got it 50% off during Thanksgiving, so the low price kind of compensated for the screechy sound.

I was so disappointed when I opened this package and activated the sound in Bert. The "farting" sound is horrible. I thought it was broken. In fact, I contacted CBS and told them how bad it was and they IMMEDIATELY sent a new one, telling me to keep the old one. Good customer service for sure. The replacement arrived quickly and was just as bad, so the original wasn't broken it was just not a good representation of a fart sound.

This was bought as a Christmas present for my grandaughter. My whole family are avid NCIS fans. She's a 9 year old who loves the whole cast especially Abby. Needless to say she was tickled pink and absolutely adores Bert. The quality and service on this product was excellent. Would highly recommend.

The nostrils face two completely different ways, the tail on mine is facing down not up like Abby's and the one showed in the picture on the website. The fart sounds are not easy to trigger. It isn't authentic at all. If someone says this is a Folkmanis puppet...you have to be kidding me, I have a Folkmanis hippo puppet and it is of a much higher quality than this one. The stitching was coming loose on mine. I wish they would make one just like Abby's.

I was dissapointed in the Hippo. It does not sound at all like the woopie coushion hippo on the show. This one has a sound box. Not very funny.

It sleeps next to me every night! Love it! Wish it was a little bit more stuffed, sturdy sometimes it would make a better pillow! I got it last year & it still holds well! Might get another one just in case it ever gets lost or damaged.

Since being a fan of NCIS, my daughter has seen Bert the Farting Hippo on NCIS numerous times and has been begging me for it for a while. So I purchased it for her birthday. When we got it, we realized you have to push a button to get it to fart. Not like Abby's where you just squeeze it to get it to do it. It doesn't even sound the same. So really diappointed that it doesn't work the same. But my daughter still carries it everywhere and loves to play with it.
