I very much enjoyed this product. It had very good highlights from most of the sports.
The beginning has a very good introduction. It states the break though performances of the games and about the history of the games in london.
The DVD goes by the Days, so it goes though 1-17. The opening and closing ceremonies just show the small highlights, not the full things. One thing I like a lot was the way they gave Evgenia Kanaeva room in this DVD and show some of Rythmic Gymnastics best.

Things that could have been better are the lack of detail they gave the women's gymnastics team final, Women's All-Around final, and the Men's gymnastics All- Around final. They dont explain about how the russians were a big threat from winning the gold in the team final and for the men AA final, they dont show how Kohei Uchimura broke though and won it.

I bought this hoping to once again enjoy the Opening Ceremony. All the dvd contains are "highlights": the wonderful children's choirs, Shakespeare recitation by Kenneth Brannagh, pastoral-to-industrial transformation? Nothing. We are unable to access the ceremony online, and now we can't even see it via dvd.

I would like to know if it has the opening and closing ceremonies in their entirety before I purchase it. I want to see all of the musical acts, not just the clips.

I think that it is outdated if it only has 19 of Michael Phelps medals.
