It really is the wrong year..in the first episode of season 2 you can see all the banners that say 2006 champions and coach taylor even says "presenting the 2006 state championship ring to..."

To the lady who said it was the wrong year: YOU ARE WRONG! If you watched season 4, it shows Tim and another guy putting up a Dillon Panther Football 2007 State Championship sign up. Pretty sure they would have it right. Other than that it's a great shirt!

Biggest issue with this shirt is that it has the wrong year for their championship... I rated the shirt based on the other FNL shirts I own. But anyone who thinks they're a FNL fan should know that they were the 2006 State Champs. Just watch Season 2 and look at the shirts the characters are wearing!!
