I was going to use the mug to replace my Tardis. The Tardis was square and Cylon has a rectangular opening, so that wouldn't be an issue, but the mug is just so darn big and to be honest I haven't used it yet BUT it does look fantastic and catches my coworkers attention. I would def buy again and one day soon I will have my Earl Grey hot from it.

It was packed well and arrived in one piece. It's not going to be super easy to actually use (or clean), but we don't care! It's big, heavy, and is a piece that any fan would appreciate!!

I wasn't sure from the photo before buying this, but when it arrived, all fears dispersed. Anyone who is a BSG fan will find the Cylon stein both fun and chilling! Bought it as a gift for a BSG fan--that birthday hasn't arrived yet, so I can't comment on its reception by the giftee--but I know she'll really like it.

This stein is the biggest stein I've ever seen. It's heavy and durable, but I don't think I'd ever drink out of it. We are using ours to hold pens and pencils on our office desk. Hopefully, people won't be afraid to return the pens back to the stein. :)

This mug looks great but it is impossible to drink out of. It's still cool to put up on your shelf tough. A good buy

This mug is a little heavy but it's too cool to put liquid in. I'm sure it would suffice as a tool to drink liquids though if you wanted to try. However I would recommend using a straw.

This coffee cup is awesome! But you can't drink coffee out of it. The mouth part of the cup is rectangle shaped with curved corners...very awkward lol but it makes a great "pen" cup!

Nice product. Larger than it looks. This is for collecting, not drinking due to it's odd shape. I bought this for a Christmas present and it arrived broken. Upon notifying the company a new one was quickly sent out.
No problems.

Battlestar Galactica lover (original & new) wanted Cylon stein but once gifted, recipient thought it was a decoration, not an actual beverage receptacle because bringing the small, rectanglularly-shaped opening to one's mouth is almost impossible if one possesses any stump of a chin. Backside is the handle, so approach from that angle is also thwarted. A stein? Any respectable beer drinker knows that after imbibing, most of the contents of this Cylon stein would manage to trickle down one's front side & anoint the floor. It is either a cruel engineer who designed this beer stein that toys with the thirsty or a thoughtful one who fears for fellow Cylon lovers out in the Universe exposed to the threat of a DUI after applying purpose to his product.

this mug looks great! very heavy, good quality. the 1st one i received came with the handle broke off. wasnt packed well enough. the 2nd one was fine.
